cheap double buggy
Created to grow with your family, this inline double has different seating options and is suitable for twins or children of different ages. Its foam-filled rubber tires never flatten and its soft suspension can easily handle kerbs.
It's easy to travel since it folds flatly and it satisfies the weight requirements of airline gate-checks. It also has a large storage basket under the seat and a four-panel sun canopy.
Leclerc Influencer
The Leclerc influencer is a great option for those who fly. Its elegant design, auto-folding capabilities and dimensions that are approved by the cabin make it a fantastic choice. Its folded (and unfolded) width is 47cm, which is slightly more than the IATA standard of 45cm, but it still complies with the regulations of hand luggage for airlines and can be stored in overhead lockers during flights (Subject to Airline Approval). We found it was easy to clean with just a wipe down, and there were plenty of extras available like footmuffs, nappy and buggy bags that are strapped to the handles and hoods that provide UV50+ protection.
We love the fact it's so small when collapsed, and that it fits easily through tiny spaces like shops, narrow alleyways and Jane's tiny terrace and is even easy to move up and down the stairs. The bumper bar doubles up as a carry handle, and there's an enormous, flip-flop-friendly brake with a color-coded indicator. The basket is a little smaller than others but it's still big enough to accommodate an adequate-sized changing bag, and there are also additional trays for drinks, snacks and toys.
It's suitable from the moment of birth and can be combined with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat using adaptors (sold separately). For older children there's an innovative backrest that flattens to make it perfect for nap times or extended walks. The smart 5-point harness that is magnetic is easy to use. It's also super lightweight at only 6.6kg and comes with a travel bag.

Joie Evalite Duo
British brand Joie is dedicated to "sharing happiness with the new parents", creating pushchairs that are "functional and innovative, as well as stylish". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It's designed to take two children side-by-side, unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has elevated seating that allows both kids can be able to see the world around them.
At just over 10kg The Evalite Duo is one of the lightest strollers for siblings available. It is suitable for use from birth and is compatible with a Joie car seats or carrycots. It's simple to fold, lift, drive and ride. The clever frame expands to accommodate the second child seat.
Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is a major feature of the Evalite Duo, and they were impressed with how quickly and easily it comes together. However, they did notice that it's a bit more difficult to navigate bumps and rough terrain than some other models.
They also mention that the front seat can't fully recline, and they needed to make use of their hands to pull it to a comfortable position - something they'd prefer not to be forced to do when traveling with young children. However, they believe that the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that can be made perfect with some tweaks. They are impressed by the compact size when folded.
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that offers parents all the options they require. It's compatible with a wide range of car seats and folds up easily by using a single-click mechanism. It also comes with a variety of accessories that other brands charge for separately like rain covers and liners.
iCandy's Peach pushchair is a sought-after choice for parents who want to be fashionable due to its stylish and contemporary premium jersey fabrics. The 2022 version of the Peach has been updated with a few minor tweaks to increase the performance and function, without compromising aesthetics.
One of the most significant changes to the current Peach is the inclusion of a ride-on board which makes it an ideal choice for twins. It's also slightly smaller than the previous Peach models but that doesn't mean it from providing the space you'll require for your kids.
This is a great double stroller if you want something stylish and adaptable. You can use it as a single stroller from birth, and then purchase the double kit to make it into a twin buggy. It has a large basket as well as five reclining positions to ensure the best comfort for your child. It also comes with a carry strap and a one-handed folding mechanism. The only drawback is that it's somewhat heavy to carry around when not in use, especially as it folds into two pieces instead of one.
iCandy Orange
This is the top twin buggy you can get. The seats are well-padded and can be outfitted with liners or luxury footmuffs that will keep your little ones cosy in cold weather. The carrycot is able to be fitted onto the Orange chassis with ease thanks to the gate-opening side flaps and is spacious and comfortable. Orange chassis allows for 30 combinations of the seat and carrycot.
The wheels are specially designed to withstand rough and paved ground, and there's a large shopping basket that's ideal for big supermarket shops. This pushchair feels smooth to drive and has a light feel and the pedal brake that is rounded is simple to use (but not flip-flop friendly). The latch that keeps it folded needs two hands to open. Once it's folded, the front wheels fold under the basket and the chassis can stand on its own without difficulty.
The Orange is a great choice for parents who are style-conscious and have a baby, toddler or both. They want a buggy which will grow with their child. It's an excellent choice for parents who are expecting an additional child in the near future and need an extra pushchair that is flexible. The iCandy Orange is not cheap but it's flexible enough that it should last for several years and will have a high resale price too. It's also possible to equip it with a buggy, which can reduce the number of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
The company was founded by a New Zealander, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first pram brand that focuses on all-terrain double pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is slim and sleek and is able to slide through the doorways and move easily through narrow aisles of shopping. It is among the smallest, most feature-packed double buggies on the market and has been awarded numerous awards including 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and the 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.
Its narrow seats are spacious enough for children of various age groups to comfortably sit together and the seats are adjustable, allowing children to choose their preferred position. The large canopies come with flick-out sun visors and the storage basket is spacious. It can accommodate two infant car seats with the purchase of adapters for car seats and can be used with almost all brands, which is a huge advantage.
The only downside is the weight. At 32.4 lbs, it is heavy to lift in and out of the trunk, and could be difficult for Grandma to handle. It is priced higher than other double side-by-side buggies. However, it has been built to last and comes with a lot of features for the money. It is a good choice for urban parents who want to avoid carrying a heavy stroller around. And, the padded harnesses and 5-point buckle make it safe for babies.
Bugaboo Donkey Twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a beautiful, functional buggy with an elegant design. It's a top-quality product, but it's not without its flaws.
It's got only a handful of extra conveniences for both the children and parents. There's a small side bin in the seat that can only be used when one seat is attached and that's the only thing it offers. There aren't any cups, tray for parents or accessory pockets. This could be a problem for long journeys.
The seats aren't able to recline to a very flat position, and the gap between them is a bit wide and our 5-year-old experienced difficulty lying back in a comfortable position. It's a shame, considering it's a high-end model.
It's easy to move, and the swivel wheel is ideal for climbing stairs and slopes. It is also narrow enough to fit into most doors and folds easily for easy storage and transport. It can be switched back to mono mode in just three clicks, if you need more space or need to make a quick escape. The comfort wheeled board can accommodate the third child should it be required. If you're on budget, there are cheaper options. If you love the brand and are able to afford it, it's worth the cost.
